Curious...Any NOVA/SOMD owners interested in having me clear their corners???
This thread is now locked. Thanks for the interest folks have shown. I have 3 interested and committed participants as well as a viable host. If you have interest in having a conversion performed, please PM me directly and I will begin looking into organizing a separate conversion/meet/thread. Thanks in advance!
I have performed quite a number of diffuser installs for S2000 owners now. All have been extremely satisfied. As I have recently received a PM from a SOMD (Southern Maryland) owner looking to have his diffusers cleared on-site, I thought I'd post a thread in our Mid-Atlantic forum similar to a successful event I held recently in eastern and central North Carolina.
Read this post for more information and sample pics of various S2000s with alternate diffuser options:
w1ngman clears corners ==> cLiCk HeRe <== if interested (warning...many pics inside)
Here's are some threads from the recent North Carolina event:

Pictures of Charlotte Diffuser Install
I would like to attempt to organize within this thread:
With everything now organized, I'm willing to drive from Richmond and do the conversions at the great price of $135 each. This is a nice savings opportunity for participants interested on completing this mod.
As of now, the conversion method via Rick's website would have YOU disassembling your front bumper, removing framing, your headlamp assemblies, expensive HID bulbs and ballasts, and shipping the headlight assembies to his conversion specialist. There's about a 48 hour turn around time in this manner, and then the headlamps are shipped back to you. It could easily take a week for complete installation. Some folks have this luxury but I suspect that many folks could certainly utilize this the opportunity I'm presenting.
I perform an extremely professional job and the results are tremendous. You can purchase alternative diffusers from one of our board sponsors, Rick's Signature Accessories. Here is the link:

Please post here if you are interested in this offer. As I gauge interest, I'll then help willing/committed participants zero in on an agreeable date to hold this.
If you want to participate, please post here. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, post here and I will try my best to answer them. I would respectfully ask folks to limit posts on this thread to those related to interested participation and/or questions regarding having the mod performed, etc.

Thanks for your interest,

This thread is now locked as 3 participants are confirmed for Saturday March 8th. Thanks again to everyone for their interest

From my experience, I can complete a conversion on one car in approximately 3 hours beginning-to-end. Staging 2 cars a the same time can gain me approximately 20-30 minutes over the course of 3 cars total. But ultimately, 3 cars translates into ~ 9 hours worth of conversions...and that's about as full a day's work as ol' w1ngman cares for (and still have to drive back home that evening, etc.).

Just a couple quick additional considerations:- If you are replacing your amber diffusers with a different style, and have not yet ordered them from Rick's Accessories, you probably will want to do so very soon.
- How would you be going with the turn signal bulb? Will you want me to purchase (to be reimbursed ~ $6) a set of replacement bulbs that are amber in color so that your car would stay "legal"? Just say the word.

Yes w1ngman, I still want the conversion. Would prefer MD suburbs over NOVA. I see that SaNgO5 is In Ellicott City. That general locale is fine for me.
Since I will be coming from the Eastern Shore I also can't host the conversion facility. Hopefully finding a suitable location won't turn out to be a limiting factor.
I'll take the Amber bulbs from you too.
Thanks in advance!
