Vortech question?? How you Tighten the Tension Pulley?

Default Vortech question?? How you Tighten the Tension Pulley?

I can get to the tension screw with no prob. How do I tighten the pulley?
I cant seem to get a wrench or socket between the pulley and the block
How did you tighten your belt?

I could be way off base here since I don't have mine put together yet, but are you sure you are looking at the right thing? According to the pics in the manual, the jam nut is that big nut that is at the center of the tensioner pulley. It keeps the pulley from moving by locking it to the frame plate.

1) Lift & secure front of the car.
2) Use a 19mm open ended wrench (the longer the handle the better) and access from underneath the engine.
3) Loosen the belt tensioner arbor screw located between the front of the engine block and the SC assembly. It's a tight fit but it can be reached.
4) Adjust tension screw as needed
5) Re-tighten arbor screw

What a pain in the butt that is to tighten the pulley, and they say it needs to be done a second time.
