This is a drive in the hilly Appalachians of South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, crossing the Mason-Dixon line a few times along the way. It is mainly a joint event for the Delaware Valley, Mid Atlantic, and Allegheny groups.

This will include VERY twisty roads. Just like your S2000 is made for! The best roads from last year will be covered again, along with some great new additions.

All driving level will be tolerated, first we break up into four driving groups, then beyond that you may stay to the back of the pack... the leader's #1 job is not to lose you!

* If you plan to attend, please post the following information:

(1) Your forum name,
(2) Your "real" name,
(3) Your car color exterior/interior (year doesn't matter),
(4) How many people will be in your car (1, 2, or 1.5 ... for "maybe" a second)
(5) What Town, State you are from,
(6) What your primary club is,
(7) Whether you will be staying the night before,
(8) Optional: If you offer to be a group leader

* This is an S2000-only drive.

* The date is Sunday, May 18 2003.

* Rain date? Nah... Looks like a Beautiful day for

* Eat in small groups at, or near, the starting place. We will have a group meal at the final ending place -pay on your own. Munchies along the way are your option.

* The meeting place is at the Waffle House at Williamsport, Maryland, I-81 exit #2, which is one exit South of the I-70 interchange. Take Route 11 South at exit #2, it's all right there... A Shell, Exxon, McDonalds, and the 24-hr Waffle House with a big parking lot.

* Meet in the parking lot from 8:30 AM on. Patronize the Waffle House as small groups whenever you want, not as one big group. They will staff up as much as possible for our group, but they have limited seating.

* We'll organize into groups at 10:45 and leave promptly at 11:00 AM.

* Directly behind the parking lot is a Red Roof Inn where you can stay the night before if you want. It's about $50 for two people, and they offer AAA discount. Call 1-800-RED-ROOF for reservations. Red Roof Inn #0570 Williamsport, MD. MapQuest

* The drive covers 189 miles total. FILL UP WITH GASOLINE WHEN YOU ARRIVE, SO WE DON'T HAVE TO STOP FOR GAS ON THE RUN!

* Around 4:00, the ride will end up at "Dilly's", a neighborhood bar&grille in Chambersburg, PA... which is near where I-30 and I-81 meet in PA. We will have their huge deck reserved. Stay for a while, leave when you need to.

* There will NO handout sheets. For directions, send a PM (personal message) to me (Destiny2002) and I'll send very thorough directions to you in a Word97 .doc file. Let me know if you want the maps too, which are in a 1 MB .pdf file.

* Talkabout "FRS" radios will be used for directions, cautions from the front, and keeping the group(s) together. If you have a radio or two, please bring them along. If not, you will be fine... we just make sure the leader, middle, and rear of the pack have radios.

* Radio Channels: Up until 10:30... Channel 10, set code=0 if you have that feature. After 10:30, add 10 plus your group number (11, 12, 13, or 14)
