Recall Rumours get Stronger "Wheels"
AllLast night was invited to the New Accord launch (nice car).
I was talking to a friend (he works for Honda) and he was saying that Honda UK are going to recall ALL 00/01 wheels and replace them with the 02 wheels in the spring. They have said that they will also give a 5 year guarantee.
Dave
THEY SHOULD!...
my 01`s replaced in Oct are starting to corrode very slightly again. Thats after 1.2k miles in the Autumn over 3 months, which to be honest, is a joke.
I hope you are right about this.

Already seen the new accord types S at my local dealer and it looks alot bigger and more aggressive than the older one.
Suppose it would be quite a nice second car.
I will be getting my wheels changed very soon if they keep on going at the rate they are at the moment.
be interesting to see if the new ones stand the test of time as mine are MY02

Hi
This is my frist post on the board, although I have been watching from the wings for a while.
I have a 1999 s brought back in July 02, since then the wheels have started to Corode, I took it into Honda (From which I brought it) and they said the extra years warrenty they gave me would not cover the wheels!
Any advice form you guys?

Mine are due to be replaced. The dealer said she was waiting for a 'bulletin' from Honda so I guess that's why it's taking a while.
Not in a hurry as I have a trackday in a coupla weeks and wanna do that on the old rims in case I damage them in anyway.
