It moves (I mrean really moves) silently without much effort. I'm beginning to appreciate it as my baby comes out of break in period.
However, you are not going to do a 9000 RPM launch to get from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds.
You can get 6.3 from 0-60 effortlessly though....with the sequential shift. The stats are very similar to that of CL-S. It's pretty much the same weight even with 2 more doors.
The rear leg room is tiny for a 4 door seden.
The interior volume is similar to accord, but more of it goes to the front seats. The rear head room and leg room are barely enough for a 6' tall. It is the same as 01 TL.
02 TL is only changed from the hood forward except for the memory seats, reverse tilt down and cd changer.
I don't have any complaint yet. At least I find the doors hard to close. That's because of the thicker rubger seals they use. It insulates better than 01TL.
The NAV is awesome. I found so many back roads. I even saved a few $2.5 ATM fees finding the right ATMs. It isn't worth $2000, but I'd take it any day

Comment:
The ride is bumpy, but not harsh. That means it provides very good road feel while being comfortable. (TL-P is a lot more comfy)
It's very quite. It's as quite as ES300 and TL-P. Even though some magazine seems to suggest that ES300 and TL-P are quieter......
The seats are very comfortable, and they don't smell like leather as much. (probably because Acura is being cheap and doesn't use full leather all around) It's perfect for me, since I didn't want the leather in the first place.
It handles much better than TL, and it's a world of difference from ES300....which I'm sorry to say has no idea what handling means.
You just need to buy it for what it is.
It isn't a S2000 (roadster). It isn't a RWD, and it definitely doesn't come in a stick.

Flying Pig,
Way back when I was researching the S2000, I had been told the TL would be available in a coupe and look similar to the Legend. I've since heard from this same dealer that the CL-S was the coupe they had been referring to, however, we were shopping the CL-S at the time so I was just a tad skeptical. I haven't compared the specs on both cars but from your review it sounds as if that may be the case.
Thanks for the info!

Those 2 cars are almost identical.
They are built on the same platform and sharing tons of parts. They even weigh almost the same. (I think TL-S is actually lighter)
I only other coupe rumor I heard besides RSX was the S2000 based RWD coupe and seden to compete directly with 3 series and IS300. At this point, that's nothing more than a rumor.
