Default New wheels for my S2000

This is the only pic I have of the wheels I'm ordering. Not sure whose S2000 it is. I don't believe I've seen it online here at s2ki.com
I chose them in racing black with no polished lip. No bling, just business.
Amazing weight (15-lbs) for their 17-inch size. They remind me of the wheels on the Nissan Skyline though I believe they have one less spoke.
Even better are the tire sizes I'm using which results in tire weights of 18.8/21-lbs respectively. About 125-lbs of weight (unsprung weight x 2.5) I'm dropping when compared to my current set-up.
Should go well with the carbon fiber spoiler and hood (soon to arrive as well).
I know many don't like black wheels but I think they look aggressive and should tuck in nicely with the Tanabe NF's I bought (1.25-inch drop). I manipulated the pic slightly to highlight the wheels since the photo was taken off the web and wasn't entirely clear.

'bout $1000 and they're not Sparcos (despite the pic name). The offsets are way too low for most of you guys to feel comfortable with so don't consider these an "S2000 wheel." They're the same low offset as my current wheels and the tires will be sized smaller but width-wise, the same. With my current Velox's (the newbies will arrive later this month) I enjoy the way the car handles and am quite satisfied with this set-up. It's very neutral and quite predictable. No oversteering maladies here. With the reduced weight of the newbs, along with the soon-to-be-installed pulleys, the Trapp mufflers....things should definitely "pick up" this spring/summer. Looking forward to getting more of the "racing" vibe back and less of the "bling."

Russ, I am pretty sure you are wrong about your unsprung weight savings.

Stock OEM wheel and tire weighs about 42lbs~44lbsx4 = 176lbs total for 4 wheels and tires.

For you to save 125lbs would mean that your 4 wheels with tires would weigh about 50lbs/4 or 12.5lbs each wheel and tire combo.

Since you already stated that each wheel weighs 15lbs. I am pretty sure your math is off.

edit...ok I see you said from your current set-up. What the hell is your current setup and why does it weigh so much?
