Yup...

I can't count how many times I've gone back-n-forth between LA and Vegas, but to some it up...


Leaving Vegas:
You leave town, go up a hill, across some flat, pass some casinos, pass some more casinos, go up a hill and through some twisties. Go down a hill and up a hill. Go through some twisties and down a hill...you're in Baker.
Go up a hill, through some twisties, down a hill and across a loooooong flat. Go down a hill, you're in Barstow.
Go up a hill, down a hill, up a hill, you're in Victorville.
-Taking Pear-Blossom Highway: go through a town, across 60 miles of whoop-de-doos, and down a loooong hill with twisties (the 14). You're in Burbank.
-taking I 15: go down a loooong steeeep hill with twisties, get on the 10 west, you're in traffic.
