Default Thread subject should contain SUBJECT

Please put a DESCRIPTIVE title in the subject line.

Just a little courtesy that goes a long way! Most people do a great job adding a subject, but other don't.

Just think what it would be like if all the subjects in the newspaper were "something bad happened" or "guess what?" or "have you seen this yet?" etc.

For many who can't visit the site more than once a day, looking through the forums is much like picking up a newspaper.

Not all of us have fast internet connections, either, so it's not a matter of clicking forward and back quickly.

I'm sure vague subjects also waste server time too.

Based upon the subject of this thread I was so tempted to create a thread with the subject of "SUBJECT" hehe

GEEZ! I hope EVERYBODY sees this!

I hate it when all you see is "QUESTION". And then the guy wants to know the meaning of life.

I often skip those threads. If the guy isn't smart enough to have a good title, maybe he isn't smart enough to understand the answer.

Hey Guys! I suggest we all bookmark this thread and link it in every new thread that might deserve it.

There was a thread recently lamenting the quality of the threads. At first, I thought people might have been a little harsh, particularly since many newbies (and we've all been one before) have a tendency to ask basic and sometimes redundant questions. But now, I think I may have to agree. What's worse, is when people use subjects inappropriately as Destiny2002 pointed out and then ADD some ridiculous question. Some of my favorites:

(Subject) What brand of...(body of post) tampons should I buy?

(Subject) Does anyone know...(body of post) how to urinate out the window while driving?

(Subject) Did you ever...(body of post) have sex in your S2000?

(Subject) How can I...(body of post) fit a cow in my trunk?

(Subject) What color...(body of post) should I dye my hair?

(Subject w/poll) Do you ever...(body of post) pick your nose while driving? And if so, what do you do with the resulting booger? Please vote among the following:
1) I eat it
2) I flick it a Mustangs
3) I wipe it on the outside mirror

Sigh...

Amen to that! I've been noticing the increasing frequency of late of non-informative thread subjects, my theory is that some do it intentionally just to get more "views" and this has to stop. I'll be more than happy to flame those who continue to repeat this offense!

Hey Moderators could we move this to the top and make it a note??
