Default Put Neo Synthetic MTF in gear box and love it

I bought some of the Neo Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid (as well as gear oil for the differential) months ago, but didn't get around to putting it into the tranny and diff until Saturday.

I wished I'd put the Neo MTF in the gearbox long ago: it's far superior to the GM stuff that's so popular (what I had before the NEO) My two-day driving impressions indicate beyond any doubt in my mind that this stuff is far preferrable to anything else I've used (and I've tried just about everything). The phrase "like slicing through butter" applies to shifts with the Neo more than anything else I've used. The notchiness of 1-2 shifts is largely gone and it performs consistently well at all tranny temps.

I love this stuff!

Here's a link to the Neo web site (Neo is hard to come by -- few places seem to sell it).

How difficult is it to change the MT fluid? Is this a do-it-yourself operation?

You mean it's better than ZMax, which I have but haven't put it in?

It was in the high 40s when I put it in, so I can't comment on freezing temps. But at start-up it the feel was certainly much better than the GM stuff.

I can't remember the price and the Neo site does not have prices, but I'm going to call them tomorrow to find out where I can get more of it. It was sold to me by an S2000 owner who works for them, I think, but I've lost his email address and other contact information.

Baker Precision sells Neo products, but for some odd reason they don't have the MTF listed on their web site.

I know nothing about the ZMax.
