I was driving over a steep hill along at 45mph tonight a bunny jumped right in front of me. I couldn't stop in time and I bumped him. As soon as he jumped out in front of me he tried to turn back. I didn't see him in my rear view mirror but I hope he is okay. I wonder if the headlight blinded him.

If that was the Easter Bunny you're in trouble.

Must have been a "Hare Raising" experience.

You hit a bunny?! I hope Hugh Heffner can forgive you, it might have been one of his brides.

So was it a base Rabbit or an early GTI?

Had to get in on the act

I hope he is okay. I had the bra on the front of my S2000 so it may have helped him out some. It was a pretty good size bunny though. He was either beige or white. Shhhhhh! Don't tell the kids.

Richard,

I had a similiar incident about a week ago. Little sucker ran right out in front of me. I too looked in the rear view and didn't see him. I figured I had better relexes then I realized and the lucky guy made it to the side of the road.
Guess what I found......about 3 days later I was washing the car and I bent down to get the front bumper when I realized that little bunny wasn't as lucky as I originally thought.
Sorry to tell the story the night before Easter. I definately didn't pass this story along to the kids.
Anyway.....Happy Easter to all !!!

I guess that is what comes from living a "Hip-Hop" lifestyle.

While commuting to college every day for four years I had my fair share of experiences with wild animals. Name it and I've either hit it or avoided it...horses and cows included. Had a get together with a bunny once. Judging by the sound of the thud in the wheel well I don't think the bunny made it.
