Does anyone know the artist and name of the song used in that short video of a Silverstone S2k cruising around? I caught some of the lyrics if that would help -

I got that from www.s2000.com under one of the submenus. I think that vid was one of the better ones out there with someone cruising around in an S. I'm still trying to decide on a Silverstone or the red - it's basically the color dilemma that's stopping me from leasing one right now. It's real funny, I gain an affinity for either color one day, then change my mind the next. It would be nice if there was a vid along those lines with a red S in it. Just seeing pics of red and silver doesn't do justice - you gotta see the color dynamics with the car in motion with light hitting it in diff angles which is why I'm trying to find as many vids of the red and silver, but so far the only vid with a red one in it is from one of the BM vids I downloaded but the red just doesn't look right in the camera (like a flourescent pinkish red).


My reasons for those 2 colors ...

Red - classic Italian sports car color, exudes a more dominant and formidable presence (the S IS one of the more dominant cars on the road after all), nothing like a clean red car though it would show more dirt than silver, probably would never be "boring" like silver may at times (though boring is a subjective word), however red may put a bit more emphasis on the COLOR rather than the car (probably not a good thing).

Silver - stealthy, elegant, doesn't drown out the lines of the S as much as the red, doesn't appear as dirty, less negative attention, puts more emphasis on showcasing the CAR rather than the color (which is how it should be I think) and can make out the features of the car far better (red rear tails don't clash with the red paint).

Red owners - do you find your color a bit too much at times esp if it's a daily driver?
Silver owners - do you find your color boring occasionally (esp on cloudy days)?

Just my nickel and dime - what are some of your thoughts?

 

to tell you the truth, when i get mine (within months) I have no preference over color because the s2k is the first car that looks amazing in every color that is available for it. I know for a fact that a Grand Prix White colored s2k would be my choice if it was available but right now i only see many silver s2ks and a single black one available from the dealers close to me. Also the 2nd video to the one you linked I found on s2000.com and i thnk it's worth sharing.

im sorry but i had a very difficult time trying to find the song to the first video.

 

visualvb - yup I agree the S looks killer in every color . Though for spending 30k, I wanna make sure I get the right color (even if I end up liking color A better than color B by one iota, I wanna make that discovery before leasing). Thanks for the name of the song - anyone know the first?
