FYI. I drove to my dealer and showed him my 'pitted rims'. They took the rims off and shipped them to some shop in PA to be refinished.

Between the posts I have seen and the fact that they took my rims no questions asked, it seems that Honda knows its '01 rims suck. Don't be a victim of pitted rims. Know your rights!!

I am getting them back this week. I will post to let you know how they look.

Cheers,
Paul

I am not sure if this is a stupid question or not but, what are "pitted rims," what's exactly wrong with them? Do '02 owners have to worry?

Pitted rims have corrosion-like dots on them. It doesn't wash off no matter how hard you try.

I have pics. I can put them up tonight
