Caution...you may get just as bad results....pics
Well here it is:
After a car wash, clay bar of the whole car, another wash, 2 coats of Meguiars Swirl Remover no. 9, 2 coats of Meguiars Gold Class Wax, and 1 coat of Meguiars Show Car Glaze no. 4.

Note the bad results I was referring to was the clear reflection of a horrid face..

Luder94. The reason I asked is because I'm a car detailing fanatic myself and would consider myself to have a fair bit of knowledge on car detailing. Obviously everyone has their own preferences but I would like to express my opinion if you don't mind just to inform others and maybe have people do some experimenting since that's the only way to go. I believe in the idea that if you're happy with the way your car looks then you've done a good job but then again there may be better ways out there.
First of all I just want to say your car looks great.
Now about the products you using. Personally I would not recommend using both the glaze and the Gold Class. As you know the Gold Class contains abrasives ie. it's a polish and wax in one. I think it's great as a one step process for sure. It's Meguiar's "consumer" wax. The Glaze is part of Meguiar's professional line of products and is a pure polish.
Polish is what makes your car look shiny and not wax as wax just seals your paint and provides protection. So if you're applying the Gold Class and then the glaze you're really just polishing off the wax as the Glaze which is a pure polish strips off the wax leaving your car with no wax/protection. If you use the glaze and then the Gold Class it's definately a better alternative. But I would recommend using the Glaze and then a pure canauba wax such as Meguiar's #26 High Tech Yellow. Course some prefer Zaino and other brands.
But my point is that the Gold Class seems to be a good consumer wax but there are certainly better waxes out there and if you're willing to go through a few steps process then one may be better off using a pure wax after a pure polish. If you apply the glaze after the wax you'll only strip the car of wax as mentioned. Hope this is insightful.
