Fron Speakers - What are my options?
Bear in mind that my car is a leased car, I do not have the option of altering the car in any way.
I am annoyed that the quality of the stereo, especially at motorway speed (80ish) with the top down. I was thinking of replacing my front speakers with higher quality ones, so I can turn the volume and bass up without them rattling.
Will this make any difference?
Have I got any options for a straight swop of speakers?
Please note than I am not willing to go the rear speaker route, and I don't want to replace the head unit.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

I had a set of focals fitted, great sound with the original head unit, and since the fitting place were scared to drill any holes they just stuck the tweeters in place, hence you can remove them before giving the car back.
I don't know if you can get them in the UK. The reason I went to Lucid was that they came with adaptors and mounting bracket thingy's. As you can tell I am not technical at this sort of stuff! I want an all-in one solution, and thats what I got. I am sure it probably cost me more than I could have bought them for in the UK, but then I didn't have to worry about whether they would fit, whether the window would still shut, whether they would connect ok. etc. etc.
If you are confident about all this stuff then the lucid options probably not for you

Sorry just notice you "did they fit straight in question"
Yes they are dead simply to install. You just mount the supplied braket, then mount the speaker to that. 30 min job including removing the door panels

How much should I expect to pay inc shipping etc? I have found them on the Internet for $70 for the pair.
