*** This feature has been put on the back burner due to the high cost of bandwidth ***

As you all should know, PhotoPoint is moving to be a pay service. For $29.95/yr (regular price), they will give you 250MB of maximum storage for your photos and another $9.95/yr for every 250MB after that. The terms and pricing are confusing you will need to check it for yourselves. They have an introductory offer for $19.95 and 500MB for the first year if you sign up on or before this coming Monday. If you plan to use their service, I suggest you get hopping!

No I'm not writing this to promote PhotoPoint. They offer a quality service and that's fine. For the past week I've been working on a new S2000Online feature and am officially announcing it here.

The S2000Online Photo Gallery

What is it?

Like PhotoPoint, The S2000Online Photo Gallery allows you to post and store your photos and images online and to share them with your friends, family and fellow S2000 Owners. Unlike PhotoPoint, the service is free to active members and contributors.

How many Photos Can I store?

The number of photos you can store in the S2000Online Photo Gallery depends on your level of activity (ie. which gear you are in). If you are a contributor, you automatically get the maximum allocation regardless of your forum participation level. This policy is in place to make sure that only "real" S2000Online members use the capacity and bandwidth. The following chart shows the capacities for the various levels:

All right! I was just kicking around this idea the other day. http://www.corvetteforum.com has similar services, including page hosting (.html files). I'm looking forward to uploading my images.

CThree,

I would also be interested in being able to store html pages. This would be really useful for how-to's and other text/photo mix uses.

Have you set policies yet on circumstances that would cause data to be deleted? If I decide that Muz and the other sponsors are part of an alien conspiracy, will they be able to influence you to delete my photo documentation?

Thanks,
Tanq
