Amuse Titan R1 Extra W Fitted!
This is what I have been waiting for, for over 3 months!
It looks absolutely gorgeous. It makes the HKS look soft in comparison. The welds are perfect and the tips are an object of beauty.
The first stage was to unbolt the HKS (this was he hardest part) for Chris (Chris Type R) to collect. Total time 30 mins eing extra careful.
The second stage was to wipe the bottom of the car down with zaino wash. This took 15 mins. Then I coated the bottom with Zaino tyre gloss. It looked great! Chris can vouch for this!
Stage 3 involved bolting the Amuse on - very easy and quick. Total time 10 mins. I finally adjusted the tips to be symmetrical - 45 mins!!! I kid you not!
I then lowered the car and fired her up. The sound is so much deeper than the HKS - where the HKS sounds throaty and raspy, the Amuse sounds tuned and intimidating.
Once the car had warmed up - I blipped the throttle - what a sound. It burbled with every blip. The main thing I noticed was the revs climbed with urge and fell back down to idle rapidly. It seemed so much more responsive. I haven't driven her yet as a thunder storm ruined my plans!
Is it worth money? Hell YES! The sound is to die for! And guess what? No more boominess between 3 to 4k rpm! That was a relief.
I will email AE with the pics - cheers Ian!
Oh and apologies to Chris, in my haste, I forgot to offer you guys a drink! Stupid me! Sorry.
I will update this thread once I have tested the Amuse on the road... thanks for reading.

No doubt about this, N4Ss car looks cleaner underneath than I'd expect a new car to look. His garage is CARPETED
The S even has a full width mirror to look at in case it gets lonely

No problem mate, I'm well chuffed with my almost new HKS
Had a go installing it late this afternoon, but battled with the bolts, don't have sealant, etc. I'll take it to Honda, or an exhaust place for fitting. Soon to be HKS'ing

Simmo may be there with his UK built system, I might have my HKS on, .... perhaps the 3 of us could meet up just south of Hatfield Tunnel
Have you been up to the Heathrow tunnel with the Amuse yet (you know, the cycle lane one ) ?
