the "slot" behind the cupholder?? i've never figured it out, and the manual doesn't mention anything about it. it seems to fit a pack of Trident gum in there perfectly, so that is what i use it for... what do you guys use it for???
In Europe a panel with switches goes there. One switch is for the headlight washers the other, I believe, was formally for the hard top window defroster (Pre 2002 cars).
hey Pete (Kodokan_4), uhh this probably isn't the best place to post this but... uhmm, I think I kinda forgot some "raincoats" in your car in that same box VTEC_junkie is asking about... when you let me borrow it for that date with that one girl... anyway bro, juicy details later ... but uhh, have you seen anything in gold-wrappers that I might've left in your S2K...? it'd be cool if you could get those back to me... keep one for youself if you think you'll need it anytime soon...
anyway VTEC_Junkie in answer to your question, for me, I usually mindlessly put things in that little box and forget about them until much later-- right when I need whatever I forgot, usually!... but I'm trying to get myself out of that habit... really sux when you borrow someone elses S2K too while you're in the LA area...
You California surfer dudes may not be aware of this, but here in the east we have something known as toll booths on our highways. So that slot is a great place to keep the pocket change needed to pay those "freeway" tolls.

Interestingly enough it's the exact width as my wallet, so I put my wallet in there when I go to the ATM to keep from having to put it back in my back pocket, which is difficult to do in the S2000 (at least for me it is). I also keep change in there.
