Anyone interested in an S2000 Engine and Tranny?
From my car. Still runs of course, no damage to it. $2500 for engine, tranny, and ECU.
If you know anyone who might want it, let me know, cause if I can get that taken care of, I'll buy my car back and part it out. That means cheap parts if you need any spares!

27-28k miles. That includes engine, tranny, ecu, and wiring harness. It would include the valve cover. The valve cover might need to replaced if you want it completely perfect. I haven't tried to clean it off, but it does have some soot on it. there are a couple of rubber hoses that need to be replaced, as well as the cover over the fuel rail. Other than that it should be perfect. I'll double check on Monday.
If you want it you'll have to come pick it up, and I'd like to have some help taking it out, since I've never done that before.
Oh yeah, its a 2001.

Yeah I'm fine. I had done an oil change, and I didn't look closely when I took the oil filter off and put the new one on. The old gasket stayed on the block, so there were two. Didn't seal, so the pressure hit a point and oil sprayed all over the engine bay. That started smoking, so I pulled over, fixed the gasket, put more oil in there, then started driving home. Of course it was smoking a little cause there was oil all between the heat shield and engine block, so it had to boil/burn off. But a couple miles down the road, it started coming through the vents, and I pulled off and called 911. They got there and put it out.
Now what ACTUALLY happened, I don't know. If you look where all the oil was, there's no burn marks. The heat shield is fine on that side, but the side with the fuse box and battery its paint is flaking off, etc. So it doesn't look like the oil itself caught fire, but somehow there was enough heat to melt the fuse box and wiring around the battery causing a fire...So I'm really confused...
