EVENT: Track Day at Little Talladega - 8/15/03 9AM-5PM

Here is the deal:
On August 15 a Friday. (This is on a weekday to make the event more price effective) We will be renting Little Talladega Raceway. This will require 10 cars to make the trip. The track rental fee will be $100 per car and must be paid ASAP to Lee Gray. If you are willing to make the trip and pay the money to go then you must post immediately that you are interested.

Track Info:
Little Talladega Gran Pre Raceway is located 5 miles north of Talladega, Alabama on SR21, and 11 miles south of Interstate 20.
This track is a 1.35 mile road course with little if any elevation change. It combines three straightaways with a combination of banked, decreasing radius and flat corners.

Money:
Money must be given to Lee Gray no later than 2 weeks prior to event. Once the funds are recieved you will be confirmed for the trip and you will not be able to back out and get a refund. You may find someone to pay you for the spot.
Signup:
If you are intrested in this event you must post ASAP!!! This will be available to the Atlanta Club for a week, before we will open it up to S2ki. If you miss the first 10 spots we will add you to the waiting list. Signup TODAY if interested! Spots will not last long at this price!!
There are several individuals that had asked for this event and have already commited to go and they are reflected on the list below.
Safety Requirements:
We may be required to run with the the tops up and windows down. This will be decided upon arriving to the track and the owner reviewing our car. You must wear pants and closed toe shoes. You must also provide a helment. If you do not have a helment you will need one if you plan to do any autocross or track day events. (So go get one or borrow one)
Hotel:
We will be staying at a hotel for the night of Thursday to get to the track easily in the morning.

You guys will have a blast. This is a great track and much fun to drive. It's not very wide so care is needed when passing but I love running there.
My last trip to Little Talladega was in a Formula Atlantic and the car went home with quite a bit of damage to the right side.
It was lots of fun anyway.

Our board is open for viewing of our events. There is also no need to join our club to attend any of our functions. We do offer our members some perks, but they are generally area specific things. I will add you to the waiting list and hope to see you at many of our events.
