Default I will never be happy with any car (for long)

I just realized today that i'm one of those people who will never be satisfied with any car no matter how nice. I've had my s2000 for 10 months and i love it. But i can't help but fantasize about other cars. i don't really even know why. I just love to read about M3s and z4s and the next new s2000. I have to tell you, i wish i could just be satisfied.

Living this way is exhausting and it drives everyone around me bonkers. I guess that's the way Jay Leno is too. He has how many cars? 50? I need a stable of at least 10 cars so i have adequate variety. Everything stays kinda new and fresh.

Hmmm.....I have an IDEA!! I will begin accepting donations. YES!!!

ATTN: Please send all donations to my paypal account. Minimum donation is $100.

Thank you all very much for supporting me in my quest to have a large stable of sports cars that will keep me healthy and happy!

I'm curious, are you married?

Seriously, though, nothing wrong with that. I know many people who are like that. If you do end up changing cars frequently, hope you're leasing. Good luck.

I'm just as bad. I've had 3 cars in the last 3 years. Had my '00 civic for 20 months, RSX-S for 7 months, and S2K for 8 months. Kinda scary when I had the Civic longer than the RSX and S2K combined, yet I hardly remember the Civic.

I feel your pain man, I'm the same way. Just don't ever buy an RX7 twin turbo, because then everything you drive from then on will feel really slow. I had one, and now I'm cursed. But on the other hand, I just can't wait to get my S2k, it just seems like it will be a blast to own. Good luck, ,and don't worry about it, your just a gearhead, and your friends and family need to realize that's just who you are. I told my wife when we got married that she could do all the decorating, house buying, jewelry etc....., just let me buy my cars and don't question it. She just rolls her eyes whenever I talk about trading cars in and what I'm gonna get next, and when she does question it, I just start talking about the way I want to decorate our house, and she usually gets the hint. If it was up to me we would have one of those really cool racing tire coffeee tables!!!

As for that $100, nice try, but I got my own jones....

You're not alone, it's a male thing just like the majority of men can't help but fantasize about other women.

There's a saying for every hot girl out there, there's a guy that's tired of her.

I'm the same way.. I've owed the S for a year now and I love it to death, but the little voices in the back of my head are always telling me about the newer faster cars out there.

I bought THREE cars in about 9 mos! New 2002 S-10 Pickup in July last year traded it in on a new 2002 Silverado 1500 in November because it was too small. Bought the S in March. I am done for a while. I can't afford to swap anymore for now. However, I plan to pay off the S and the truck and get a Z06. Yes I know I JUST bought the S, but I test drove the Z06 a few weeks ago and was sold. It should be cool to see what they do to them for 2008.

As to the donation: I would have, but you didn't list your e-mail address. Now it's too late, sorry.
