Was the Porsche with you guys? I was mountain biking near Arroyo Seco and heard some skidding from the crest up above (the mtb trail is just below the crest) but no "crashing" sounds. Being Sunday, it could've been anyone.

How was the drive overall? I would have joined but really needed to get a ride in.

Around Hidden Springs (my guess), a white Porsche was pretty much embedded into the side of the mountain at the "T" intersection at Angeles Forest Hwy. He didn't head-on into it, just ran off the road somehow and the car was resting at a 40-degree angle with all wheels and suspension simply missing.

The driver was being loaded onto a meat wagon. From the radio chatter, it looked like he busted a leg. I couldn't snap a pic, I was driving solo, and there were a sizable group of CHP watching us drive by the scene.

The porsche was not with us... CHP told me the guy snapped both legs OUCH! and I'm pretty sure his car "WAS" hardtop until he made it into a Convertable with the help of a Mountain... I feel bad for the guy... but... I'm happy for him cause 2 snapped legs isnt the worst thing that can happen on the Canyon....e.g. Falling off the cliff... Anyway that's what happened..
