as some of you know from last year, cthree's mom is battling cancer....he's been up a few times to visit her.

on one occasion, we were fortunate enough to spend an evening with him.

well, he's back again and this time he feels it's to say goodbye to his mom. i spoke to him last night, and it's just a matter of time.....

he sounded bummed out (obviously) and said he would quite like/need the distraction of a little impromptu and informal gathering for a few pints....i guess he needs a mini-break from all that is going on.

so, to that end, does ANYONE have time this week to get together for a couple of hours? nothing elaborate, maybe a patio or pub or something in the downtown area....

also, i sent flowers this morning to his mom at princess margaret hospital on behalf of the toronto forum....

i know it's short notice, but i think it would be a VERY supportive gesture to get him away from everything for a couple of hours.
