Default Smoooookin' Side Markers and Headlights that is. (not 56K Friendly)

I kinda like the idea of "shaving" things off the car, but I am much too chicken to actually do it. Instead, I wanted to just make things less obvious. A clear example (no pun intended) is the amber diffusers and side markers. I wanted to make that bright amber color go away until it was needed. I wanted to do the smoked diffusers to try and make the headlights look more like they were all once piece. I then decided I wanted the side markers to match that. So I order the Diffusers from Rick's but he did not have the side markers in Smoked. I found them online from This site in Germany. I had to paypal the webmaster because their online ordering is not working, and it too a couple of weeks to get them, but I think they look great. What do you think?

Thanks

The side markers took about 57 seconds.

The headlights took me several hours. It was about 1 hour or so to get them out. (BTW -- Remove the light assy FIRST, then disconnect the bulbs. Much easier than Rick's instructions.) I spent about 2 hours getting the first one apart (and failed) so I took a break so I could calm down and not be frustated. I then took another stab at it, and was able to bang both headlights on in about 2 1/2-3 hours. I did the re-install after a couple of days. That only took about an hour.

i remedied the headlights with the static tint.....

As you can see, im goin for the whole light/dark combo...silver car, black wheels, tinted headlights, smoke sidemarkers, having all the emblems done in black chrome, and soon tinted windows, and i will be trying to tint the tail lights, but they have an awkward shape, so it will take some time!

I dig that smoked look. I've got the Ricks JDM style smoked diffusers - just haven't finished the install.

no offense - but I really don't care much for the static tint thing. I thought I remember seeing someone post that shortly after using one of those tints, his headlights crazed or cracked...

mine have had no problems, look fine after peeling it off. Im redoing it in a lighter tint, the stuff i have on in the pics is 20%, so its too dark at night. I will be redoing it in 40 0r 50% as soon as i have time!
