Default AUG 23rd Drive and Brunch

The starting point is the Euless Town Center, next to Grandy's, SW corner of Industrial Blvd and Airport Freeway (Hwy 183). The meeting time is 8:00 am and we will depart NLT 8:30 am to beat the heat, hopefully. Route sheets will be provided. Dallas drivers should take the Industrial Blvd exit and turn left. Arlington drivers can come up 157 (Collins) which becomes Industrial Blvd in Euless. Fort Worth drivers may wish to join us at the Silver Creek Rd exit from 820 West. You can call my cell phone at 214/952-8397 to coordinate your arrival. We'll exit north from there up Silver Creek Rd.

The route will total about 91 miles if you complete the entire drive. The late breakfast will be at the R & K Cafe in Hudson Oaks at about 10:15. The route will be a variation on last February's drive (but without the misty, cold wx, I imagine.)

Arrgh. I've yet to be able to make a drive, so hopefully this one will work out!

Last time I signed up for a drive my car was sandwiched and out of service for 6 weeks at the body shop. I am going to roll the dice and sign up again.

Is there any way a map with the route could be posted up? My car is still in the shop after Huggins Honda wrecked it, so I won't be able to participate, but would like find some nice drives in the area for future reference. Thanks.

Sounds like a good drive, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it this time. I'll be reliving my college days floating down a river in Michigan with some old friends. (I'm sure there will be a few cold beverages involved.... ) Maybe next time!!

I can't make it (out of town visiting family), but I've passed the word along to the local Miata community, as requested. Should be at least a few of them up for joining you guys.

Just an FYI, some of our Miata friends will be joining us... They are responding via e-mail and I'll post here once I have a better idea of how many will be joining us.

Gene, are you planning on giving the restaurant a final count later next week?

I'm assuming that potential new members can come and play. Count us in. Thanx and looking forward to meeting many of you. JGP
