Default Jdm F20c

Has anyone done a JDM F20C swap with a USDM S2000 chassis? I was wondering if there were any conflicting issues with the two. Such as ECU, wiring, harnesses, and or sensors. Also, wondering if a fellow member here has done such a swap. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Are you sure about that . I'll just say that it can be accomplished and it is a clean swap. Just make sure that when you receive the engine the engine code is F20C not F20C1. The F20C engine will not come with a VTEC oil pressure sensor. Nevertheless, the sensor can be swapped.

What is the difference between an F20C and F20C1? And what is the difference between a USDM and JDM F20C that makes it not fit? I thought they were the same block and head.

Some guy on the web down at a salvage yard in Texas was parting out a Monte Carlo Blue car. This guy probably bought the engine. My guess is someone brought it into the country from Japan or England and it didn't make it past customs and certification, or it got wrecked.
