Hi folks! I just returned from a two week business/vacation trip to England, and saw many nice cars there, but only three S2000s. I also sighted a new Bentley at Kingsway hall. The two S2000's that I saw up close both had personalized registrations. Apparently in the UK it is quite expensive to get custom plates (like older S-reg) and people squat on popular ones like web addresses. Weird. Anyway, are any of you three here???

PS Clive thanks for the excellent walking tour guide of downtown London.

1. Silver S2000 headed toward Exeter on M4 on Friday May 4 at 8PM (sorry no pic)

2. Red S2000 in Paington (English Riviera), license S2000HS:

3. Black S2000 with hardtop in London between Chinatown and Leciester square, license S2000HW:

Seems like you had a good time (and did the recommended walk).....I hope you didn't work too hard and had plenty of time to look around....Thanks for bringing back some interesting pics of those nice cars.....I'm sure you missed your own S2K while you were checking those beauties out.

I presume that's not really Mr. Bean's car - just another Mini. .....I used to have one of those till I totalled it.....Great fun car to drive.....I'm looking forward to the release of the new Mini Cooper on July 7.....I'm sure they'll be a good match for the S2K - especially at the track.

Welcome home!

Glad you had fun on your trip.

I was near Exeter (M5-A30), last Friday, on my way to Penzance. I'm
glad you didn't get a shot of me anyway, the
car was filthy! (waiting until I got down there to clean her)

You right about registration plates though. Each plate can
only be issued on one car at a time in the whole of the
UK. Some go for silly money. E.g. - I think KINGS (K1NGS) sold
