Don't get me wrong, those mods are seriously sick (in a good way) all except one. The "Hi-Comp" pistons (13.0:1 compression ones) will NOT be good for those that have FI. I have heard that if you are NA, then more compression is better, and for FI you want lower compression. I would consider all except that mod (and the non-VTEC rod, because cmon, you HAVE to have VTEC )

If you are joking, then please disregard my comments. But the VTEC "Killer Cams" are designed in such a way that even at idle, the valves are being opened by a cam lobe with a profile that is as radical (or even more so) than the VTEC cam lobe found on the stock camshaft.

Basically, you are running on the "big lobe" during the entire time of engine operation, be it at idle RPM's or up to 10000 RPM's, maybe even 11000 RPM's? Or maybe even 12000 RPM's? You get the idea. Essentially, whatever your wallet can handle.

p.s. I don't know how streetable these cams would be, and I don't even want to think about what type of gas mileage you would get with them. I would say that anyone that is running these has cast the idea of good gas mileage out the window a long time ago.

EDIT: Forgot to add, you lose a lot of valvetrain weight with these camshafts as well. You can take out the VTEC rocker arm, lost motion assemblies, etc.

Why worry about gas milage when gas is ONLY $2 per gal in USA?

I pay $5.00+ per gallon for crappy gas(87 oct) when I go back home..that's more than twice price of here.

Imagine paying $60 for every gas stop for only 87 oct gas for little 2.0L engine...that SUXS!

When you look at an S2000 dyno, if you pull the prevtec curve up to vtec, you have just seriously improved low end torque. This type of cam has been done on other Honda vtec engines. Nice mod for those who track the car and by necessity have to be lower than vtec around certain corners despite downshifting.

Toda (and most other Japanese performance company's) focus on making power the way ALL Honda motors are designed to be used, Naturally Aspirated. Any average Joe with cash to burn can pay a shop to slap on a off the shelf Turbo or Supercharger kit. But company's such as Toda sped countless hours focusing on how to squeeze out Natural power.

Therefore, it would be obvious that anyone with a Turbo or Supercharger would NOT be interested in performance parts offered by Toda.

Right, my point exactly

I actually thought that the "Killer Cams" eliminated VTEC. With the listed upgrades, would you need a VTEC controller (V-FAC) to adjust for the new torque curve? Just curious!

"VTEC Killer" cams
Adjustable Cams Gears
Hi-Compression Pistons
Stroker Kit
Cylinder Head Tuning (if you have to send it out you're looking at serious down time)

Oh the possibilities

I still don't know how to feel about the ITB's for daily driving but for the track

NA S2000's are starting to catch up to the FI crowd. Be it with a bigger price tag but can you beat over 300 whp NA at 9k+rpm with the top down.
