Ok guys here is the date for the next meet with some info on what we're doing.

Anything that might cost money to do or cost money to get into is signified with a $ sign.

*Meet up 11am at Starbux on West Charleston, go to this link and click on "Get Directions To This Location" It's in the same parking lot as Mcdonalds, Del Taco, Grocery Store, etc

*$Quick drive to Red Rock Canyon to drive the scenic route, $5 to get in. I'm told it's really nice and col out there, perfect convertable weather! Bring a friend or you gf or wife or whoever as it'll be nice to have a passenger for the drive. I'm going to go there soon and try to find a nice picture spot for us
*Leave Red Rock and head back to Starbux area for food at one of the many places to eat in that area
*$Head down to Fast Lap for some indoor karting www.fastlaplv.com pricing is $18 for members, $20 for non members for a 20 lap race.
$26 for first timers who get the membership with their race so everytime after you get the membership it's $18. If you have your own full face helmet bring it and you can use it. It's a good place for beginners and experianced karters (heck I've taken dates out there ), the karts a 200cc 4 stroke Hondas which with bumpers so you don't have to worry about getting hurt or anything if an accidental bumps or anything happen.

This is all tentative but it's pretty close to what we'll probably do and defintaly the day it's gonna happen cause the weekends around it I know of quite a few people who will either be out of town, have an autocross or something, or a track day.

Don't forget to spread the word to all other s2k drivers you know! I know some don't read the board regularly or even read it at all. So tell those people

don't know if i'll be there, i leave for nevada test range on the 22nd, but things have been changing alot so we'll see, if not, i'll let the guy who's buying my car know so you guys can meet him and welcome him to our little happy community!

YAAAYYY!!! hehehe that sounds like fun karim!! That's probly why u're moderator... cuz u come up with such fun ideas!!! (partial sarcasm ) Fast lap is totally awesome man, cept when u drive with a lot of other people and they bunch up at certain places.... :/ but hey, I just got a 3 race package on my card so I'm game!!! sweet... hey... um... will there be any girls there? (other than Melissa- she's cool ) cuz I'll feel outta place... like I'm not already (age wise) Alrighty, so from the looks of it, I'll be there!

 

We should be able to make it to Starbucks and Red Rock Canyon. I'll probably stay in the back of everybody. Don't want to drive too fast with my pregnant wife on the passenger's seat.

Will we need 'walkie talkie' radios? They were very helpful with my previous meets in MD, PA.

 

Yep, good call on the FRS radios. HIGHLY recommended for communications during group drives.
