Is this even necessary???? Sad to see that ANYONE can get onto this site, and post absolute trash. This is to cthree and all the mods:

we had a problem with a guy from Galveston, Texas in the Corner...and his IP got banned. I think its the same guy...please all of you...look into this....because this guy is the pinnacle of trash.

Sophia - it is very difficult to police who signs up - I just noticed this guy on the member list, as i went to look if someone had signed up in the last 2 days. He has 2 accounts right next to each other, both spelt slightly differently. Hopefully one of the admins can delete him as soon as they see this

Its not right, nonetheless. This guy has started stuff before....under other names...

all of a sudden, people have no respect for each other on this site...it was worse before when you guys made all the changes a few weeks ago. I paid to be a gold member of this site because I appreciate how many people I have met thru it and I post alot with those good people in the Corner, just like u AE. But in alll honesty, what am I getting for it? jerks calling me names? insulting my friends? people just being bitchy 99.9% of the time?

Its not fair and its not right. I personally am trying to keep peace if I am involved in a conversation in a thread that goes a little off kilter. But its getting out of hand. I do love this site ad I hope that this is just a cloudy phase we are going thru.

He has been banned..

We can't monitor who signs up and you can sign up from other computers I guess. It is appreciated by the members and the moderators to help bring these things to our attention. Keep in mind the resources are limited to be able to catch all the bad guys. The moderators do an excellent job.

I understand your concern but there are almost 2 dozen people who work to clean up the crap that some people feel compelled to leave. Click the Report this post to a moderator link and one of those people will come along and try to make it right.

The problem is that if a legitimate person who just bought an S2000 or is buying one wants to ask a real question then they should be able to. When someone signs up there is no way for us to know what their intent is. It's not until they make that clear that we then are able to deal with it.

Trolls and retards have been around since day 1, that's not a new problem. We only have so much control of it. The best advice I can offer is to click that report post link and then the ignore button for those people who are assholes.

I wish there was a practical solution (all people who run these types of sites do) but unfortunately there isn't. How would something like you can make 5 posts and then you need to become a member to make any more go over? Not too well I suspect.

Sophia,

Don't worry, we're not gonna let the site go to the dogs just yet...there is still plenty of GOOD trouble we can get in around here.

Thank you (and those on other threads) for bringing this particular incident to our attention. Sorry I slept in a bit this morning or I would have been a bit more responsive. However, as always, the other mods on this board stepped up to the plate and responded quite rapidly to take care of things.

I did report him. I was disgusted by the picture of the WTC buildings he posted. This is not only about him. This is about the site and the way people are conducting themselves. I guess I have been on this site for a lil while now, so I understand whats the deal is in here. I just want to see this place stay as enjoyable as possible. This is the second time in a week I have had to alert a mod on something....I have seen enough fights (and been a part of some) in the Corner...Im done with that.

BTW...making Brantshali a moderator was a great idea...hes really taking it seriously

Sophia, as soon as we found this crap we nipped it in the bud. I think s2ki did a great job cleaning up the crap he left considering his barrage. This is a free site and so anyone can get on it and post. That's the beauty and I appreciate how Cthree has set it up. That being said asshat's will be asshat's and so occationally the cleaners have to be called out.
