Hey Glenn,
I copped out cuz I just have too much going on. Been working on the Studie for 8 or 9 yrs now, need to finish it someday. The TA needs some minor work, or I may just sell it and buy a V rod. Now the S is distracting me...but is almost finished. Oh yeah, there's the little formula car I would love to build for autocrossing. Been sitting in pieces in Reno for like 20yrs...but 100+ HP and 500lbs or less would be kinda fun, don'tcha think. In fact I shouldn't be sitting here on my ass right now, off to the garage.

Is this for sale? This is the exact thing I am talking about when I say a race car only for autoxing. I can't find a decent formula car for a good price unless I look at a F440. Even the F500 are exepensive and neither of these have adjustable wings. I would love a FFord and of course an Atlantic would be awesome, ......BUT $$$$$$$. What level of Formula is your's?
Well, I originally wanted to go with a viper blue metallic with white rally stripes, and then I saw this photo, and thought it was totally hot! Definitely not conventional, but you wouldn't have a problem finding my Cobra in a crowd
Here are some shots I took down at Knott's Berry Farm Kit Car show:
Some cool "ghost" stripes:
And a possible solution to a fuel injected "donor" engine (extra credit to those that see the "add on.")
Jonathan, I really like the blue one with the high back buckets and the cobra wheels with the deep lip in the rear. The supercharged 5.0 would be an exciting drive, but I just can't stand to see that ugly intake under the hood of a Cobra! The only fuel injected Cobra that I would own would be one of the custom set-ups that look like four weber carbs, but at $8,000 - 10,000 dollars, that will not likely happen. The red and white cobra looks nice to, and surprisingly the white rollbar and side pipes work. I usually prefer chrome or ceramic coated.
Glenn, I love the orange...but would most likely stick with black myself. I too like the classic look mildly updated.
Anthony, yeah I'm pretty serious. Need to fix some small prob's first though.
Jonathan, the formula car actually belongs to my dad. Mine for the fixing and driving whenever I want though. It's an old (30+?) formula 4 that has a Kawasaki 1000cc motor adapted. Would only be legal in the unlimited class and who knows how competitive. Will definitely be fun if I can find the time. I know, I know...I NEED to get my shit together.
All this car talk is turning me on. Anytime you want a spectator, I'm there. I love cars and wish I new more about their inner parts!!!!! Cobras are very sweet looking vehicles or should I say master pieces!!!!!!!!!
