Default What is your occupation?

In response to the topic of occupations being mentioned in the Roster thread (and to give jukngene something else to compile and fill his hard drive with semi-useless information ) please post your current occupation in this thread. Be cautious of posting any actual current or former employer information, in order to minimize the chance of this information being used for identity theft.

I currently work in IT for a major insurance company. In '96 I made a major career move, switching from technical sales to IT. I've always been one of the guys people ask for computer help, and in previous jobs I was the unofficial computer support person. Seeing as I hated sales (I was pretty good at it, I just hated the process) I decided to make a switch, and I haven't looked back.

Architect and Director of Operations for 130 pp Philly design firm. Full time at the moment

PS: For the older Vintagers, I assume that you want people to post either former occupation(s) before full time S2000 interests took over

I give up!! (Mumble, mutter, various other under the breath utterances)

The compilation starts! I'll let the data come in for a while to see if there are any logical groupings before I post it to the Stats forum.

My info: Director of Industrial Engineering for a major consumer products company. (The female +1's and members of the group are probably familiar with our products)

VP Distribution. Have spent 33 years in Distribution and Regulatory Compliance (OSHA, FDA, DEA, etc). Great use for a college degree that was a major in marketing and a minor in finance.
