HID Lighting Angle Adjustment
I've been looking under the hood and have been trying to figure this out but I'm always hitting a brick wall instead. Is there a way to adjust the HID lighting angle? I know that one side is meant to be slightly lower than the other and the angles are all set right but can't we even tweak it a bit like conventional halogen type of car lighting, you can adjust it as high as it goes and as low as it goes too.
Ditto here. I'm waiting on my shop manual. I looked, too, and couldn't find anything.
My HIDs don't line up- the passenger side is higher than the driver's. This may be a US thing for oncoming traffic, but it's quite annoying.
I'll post back if I get my shop manual before anyone responds...

Yes, it's adjustable. Behind each HID headlight, there is a wierd looking washer thingy that looks like a star lockwasher that has the points bent back (you may have to remove the coolant tank out to see it on one side). This is held onto the headlight assembly by a bolt. Along side the of weird washer thingy, there are 2 plastic tabs. A phillips screwdriver will fit between the plastic tabs, and the points of the screwdriver will fit inbetween the points on the washer thingy. Turn the screwdriver counter-clockwise to lower the beam.
Hey S2WOOOW and Shaner, thanks for the advice and tip. It worked perfectly great though it took me a bit more confirmation to find out which was actually the adjustment point.
A few more things to add, there is only one star washer on each side and it's WHITE in color. You don't need to remove your bumper to adjust the lights while there is a hole on each side specifically there for the angle adjustments.
And using a Phillips screwdriver did spoil one of star washers, maybe I was using a bit of strength but it wasn't moving at all when I exert no force. So I recommend using an exact 13mm head nut adjuster instead, but it's a bit tricky to get it to fit and adjust with a long height.
Anti-clockwise to rise the beams, and clockwise to lower the beams. However, mine is JDM so it appears to be different from the States version. Anyhow, get someone to lookout for you the exact height you wish to go against a flat wall. It can go sky high but I wouldn't recommend, I had to adjust mine back down to a certain degree because I had it up all the way that it shined right over the roof of my neighbour's house ... Heh!
So Marcucci and anyone out there who wants to address this issue, you should go and try this out. I believe that you don't need the shop manual to figure this one out. Just post if you have any problems and I'm sure you'll get plenty of assistance. Cheers to S2WOOOW and Shaner once again!

Since getting the car less than a week ago, I have had 2 folks ask me why I am "flashing my highs" behind them. I know the car rides stiff, but one guy said it looked like the "bulbs" were loose and flopping around. Any ideas?

I flashed for longer intervals. He flashed again.
I left my brights on for a while. He flashed again.
I turned my lights of then high beamed him. He left his brights on. Now I was piss. I turned around and followed him for about a mile with my brights on, purposely hitting his rear view mirror with the edge of the HIDs. I know it was kind of a dick thing to do, but I'm not going to drive in the dark for him. Wait until the new Infinity comes out with 7 HIDs on each side.
I had the same "flashing" problem when I took delivery. It was so bad my friend driving in front of me and I switched cars so I could see how the lights flashed in his mirror.
I must say they were aggrevating!
Took it in to the Dealer and had him adjust them to spec. They no longer "flash" at all.
Adjusted properly, the lamps will not annoy other motorists.
