Just got back from the Sydney Motor Show. The Honda stand was a bit sad with just a Silver/Red S2000 velvet roped away in the background. A bit humble for the NRMA's "Sports Car of the Year".

I like to approach wheel manufacturers and futilely ask about wheels for the S2000. Usually if I get a positive response it's because they've never heard of the S nor the offset differences. Once you explain the S their answer changes to "NO". Not a lot of fun.

I approached the ROH (an Australian manufacturer of wheels) and picked up their brochure. What was on the cover answered my question

What's more, they quoted me $342 a corner. That's even better when you realise that price is in Pacific Pesos, so it's actually about $US171.

Needless to say, a group buy will be organised shortly.

If you're interested in organising a set yourself contact Ron Broad at rohwa@roh.com.au. It was him that rented the S2000 for the shoot and he fell in love with it.

Wow, that's a cheap price for wheels. They look nice as well. Are those 17" or 18"?

Although at those prices I have to wonder about the quality. I've never heard of ROH wheels.

I have owned ROH wheels in the past... and all I can say is that they were HEAVY!!!

They are definitely cheap though... so if looks are what you're after, it seems like a reasonable choice. Question: just because they are pictured on an S2000 doesn't mean that the sizes and offsets are ideal. What are the actual specs for the S2000 application?

Sorry if I sound pessimistic, but the S2000's offsets are so unique that I can't see very many manufacturers going through the trouble of producing wheels just to fit our cars... hence the limited choice of expensive footwear that is available to us (i.e., Work, Volk Racing, Mugen...)

They're 17's.

I'll check on the offsets et al.

ROH are a very well known and respected manufacturer in Australia. They export to over 30 countries and have Quality Accreditation to QS9000 (not sure what this is but it sounds good).

Two things:

1. If this goes through, please be sure to post the group buy in Parts Counter.

2. HOLY CRAP what a price!! I don't suppose those'd fit a Subaru Impreza?

They look good! Looks like someone did some Photoshop work to the rotors.

Aren't our wheels made by Enkei? From Enkei to ROH, I dunno...

Picture seems to be down... am I missing something? Looking for wheels choices, as always!
