Well guys I took the time tonight and hacked in the updated vbulletin search tool (from v2.3.2) since its lookin like vb3 is gonna take for ever.

So yeah its looking like it works correctly again. But we'll see once all 160k threads are indexed. Please allow some time (couple days likely) to reindex the site. New posts are automatically indexed.

so try the search today.

btw: you might find some bugs as a result of the hacking. if so please post them here so I can resolve them

I'm hoping indexing is the issue...I just ran a search for "MacGyver AND speaker" and came up with nothing I'll give it a few days and try it again

 

how old is the thread you are looking for. currently we have indexed the newest 1/3rd of our threads.

 

I use search alot, and this one is much better than the old one, thanks Krazy K
