Default The install is finished!

I'll have pics up later today. My old head unit started crapping out, so I HAD to buy an Alpine 9815. Everything is straight now except the DCI. I noticed Modifry is in Atlanta. I'm going to contact him to see about installing the DCI.

Quick update: We're almost there after corresponding with Modifry. All buttons are working except the channel and I have a replacement external speaker for my radar detector coming from Escort. We're heading to Birmingham tonight, but if you guys want to meet up Tuesday after work, I'm open.

Not unless he has moved. I'll try to snap a few pics before we head out this afternoon. There's no way I can get them up until Wednesday though. I'll post them here as soon as possible. I never think about taking pics because most everything is hidden.

I want to check it out! RBC3 might be coming over this afternoon to finish checking on his stereo issues too. Would you be interested in stopping by?

That shouldn't be a problem. What time?

As promised, here are the pics. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics of the components before the panels went back on.

Alpine 9815

Focal 165K2P

The normal look of the trunk

Trunk with covers removed

JL Audio Stealthbox (10" sub)

JL Audio 500/5

Passport SR-2 Radar Detector (Control Unit)

Front Radar sensor

I haven't messed with the time correction on the head unit yet, but I couldn't be more pleased with the whole setup.

If anyone is interested, I bought the JL products from Audio Video Specialists in Decatur, the Focals from Sound Alterations in Machester, TN, and the SR7 on E-bay. I had Tweeter pricematch AVS on the headunit. I would have purchased it from AVS, but the old unit I was having installed had issues and I wanted to get the install done. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with any of them again. The JL stuff was right at internet prices. I did pay a premium for the Focals, but they were still $150 cheaper than the price Traffic Jams wouldn't budge from.

Quick Reply: The install is finished!
