Xtant amps are about as good as an amp can get. Make sure you find a competent installer that is familiar with Xtant amps to do the install for you since they are a bit more complex than most other brands. Once dialed in................WOW...............you will drool all over your leather interior. Good luck!

The "factory renewed" amp looks like a great deal, although the site says it's backordered.

I just got my S2K so I don't know the dimensions of the little compartment behind the seats yet. Would this amp fit in there? The site says it's 18.5 L x 7.6 W x 2.2 H.

Thanks!

i have this amp,....it rocks. I'm running MB Quarts up front and a JL stealth box for my sub. I mounted the amp under the top, next to the spare. it is fan cooled and in the 1.5 years I have had it in the car I have never had a problem. The bracket is mounted to the factory screws for the fuel sensor, and the amp is help in place with Marine Grade Velcro. The amp has never moved out of place and no screw holes.

Mitch

Here are some pics of the install. BTW i'm still using the factory radio. This amp has HI-level inputs built in .

I don't remember if the Xtants came with one or not when I had my 403A. Since Xtant is owned by Rockford now - I am certain they come with birth certs when purchased new.
