My car took a rock hit from a dumptruck a few weeks ago. It hit below the black border, so I thought I had lucked out, bt now I have a crack that is slowly reaching up across my windshield. Troy recommended a place called POOR FOLKS AUTO GLASS 713-645-8783. I called (Jeanine) and she said it would cost $255 plus tax to have it done in my driveway. That's a great price -- Russell Smith wanted $493, just for the glass. Anyway, I having it done soon, and I'll let you guys know how it turned out, ok?.

That's a good price for the windshield replacement. I had mine done last month with excellent results. I paid more than both quotes so far, but the installation was flawless.

Let us know how it goes and what the final price was. I'm trying to collect this kind of information to place at the top of the HouStook forum.
