Default SN: Topfuel's ITB Impressions

Well, I'm sure most of you have seen the thread about Topfuel's ITB's in the photo gallery. Since the other thread was getting cluttered with posts by several non-beleivers out there, I decided to take one for the team and drive an hour back and forth to meet up with the guy. He was nice enough to do so and educate me on what he's done thus far.

Let me start with some crappy pics I took.

thanks for posting this. to both of you.

quick observation: no air filtration at all?! please say you just removed the cone-shaped foam filters that go in the horns for the picture. otherwise, I'm sure an oil analysis later will show silicon counts through the roof!

Keep us posted as more details arrive. Would be interested to see the reliability of a system of this nature.

I'm sure by the time I decide what to do (FI or ITB's) there will be more info on this set up. By the way, would much rather go for NA

top has filters on the clutch and the brake reservoirs. I would think he cares more about containments then 90% of us.

Kekoa-

Thanks for the effort that you went through, and thanks for posting. Still, I'll be waiting for dyno sheets before I get too excited.

What type of dyno is he using. If it is a DynoJet, then that would be pretty impressive, but if it is a DynaPack, then it isn't.

This is a joke, right?

Anyways, nice work on the ITB setup. But seriously, I'd get some rudimentary filters on there at the very least.
