Tonight was only the second encounter for me in about 2 months (both coming in the past week!)... and compared to the NSX in the curves... it just... ain't... the... same...

The first thing I saw, as I pulled up from behind... the rice rocket wing... any bigger and he'd be S.O.L . at the drivethru carwash! Then I saw the cute little body kit. ...kindof a mix between white rice, and brown rice... all in all... still rice. It was also painted a lovely orange, which didn't look all too bad... and then finally iced off with some stock aluminum... hubcaps.
(actually, I think they were GT rims... hubcaps just sounds funnier... only thing better... hubcaps, with SPINNERS!! What the hell is up with those!!?? )

We first pulled up to a light... just as I got there and shifted into 1st... the damn thing popped green on me... and so did the Ricestang. He got me until about the end of 1st (about a 1/2 car), but I was quickly pulling him in... He let off though at 60 or so, right when I was catching up with his door.

...so this time I try to get him to pull from a roll. I drop down to second at 50mph, and wait patiently for him to do the same. He obliges, and we both gun it... I Immediately pull a full car on him, but unfortunately, intelligently... he "pulls" off... Thhbbbtt.

I try to get him to roll one more time... but he pretends as if he is fixing something in his center council (who knows, maybe he was tryin to figure out what happened to the spray... looked as if it coulda had it)

In a very eminem swagger-like fashion... he flips the hood to his oversized fubu sweatshirt and pulls into the next gas-station...

--another night... another "I thought my stang was the fastest thing on 4 wheels" redneck dissapointed!

If he's in a domestic car, wouldn't it make him "hotdog" or something? What is with all this white rice, brown rice talk? I don't find the term too friendly.

lol!

Sorry Bonniie... I do not know who dubbed the term, and/or what context it was originally meant to be used in... but patterns show that it is a relatively innocent term defining how overly "tricked out", "ghetto'd", "hotdog'd","pimped", "jacked up" a car is...

I'm sure everyone has matured enough, ESPECIALLY on this site full of MANY different temperments, talents, and convictions... not to mention... races.... to not intend "rice" to be used in a derogatory fashion.

besides... being in a asian based car makes calling it "rice" ok? is this like when my black roommate calls one of his black freinds a "N..."bomb, and its OK... but if I do it... time to get knocked out!?

If anything, I do not like how you choose to segregate cars and terminology used to define them between cultures that create them... That, if anything... is the foundation of racism.

Joeking1978...

I've seen this car on Gratiot. Your right about it's looks.

Is it me or is everybody around here getting "spinners" and putting them on any car? I saw a Cavalier with them the other day.
