Why are there no s2000's in the GT class racing anywhere????
I talked to some HART people (Honda of America Racing Team) last year at one of their Gran-Am races (they're fielding a couple RSXes and got 2nd this year) and they said the S2000 wouldn't be competitive in the class it was eligable for (GS). Now, however, since Boxsters and Z4s are in ST class, I figure the S2000 would run there too and quite possibly would have a chance at some wins.
It doesn't seem to have any backing from Honda however, which is the main reason it isn't raced. I suppose Honda doesn't see any need to, either - the S2000s are selling quite well. Mazda RX-8s, however, which aren't selling well at all from what I can tell, are being raced in the series next year - seems like Mazda needs the exposure.

There's was only one S2000 at last year's Runoffs and he crashed badly early in the week and didn't run in the finals. This year there was only one S2000 in T2, an all white w/hardtop #73 driven by Austin Smith. It had a Qual Pos of 28th and Finished 18th. BTW, TCKline finished 3rd in a 350Z.
