I think driver weight should be noted as well because 50cc doesnt do much for a 200 pound fatass when racing a 130 pounder. so for my weight I think my time was very good.

i got a friend who's braggin he could woop me in fastlap. i'm not so sure of my kart skills so what's a good technique to go fast? can anyone give me pointers?

 

I think I'm the heaviest to run sub 26.

I thunk you are right. I think Fabrizio, Kam, me, Yuta and JP are all pretty close in weight. You are the heaviest of the bunch and Steve is by far the lightest.

fwiw I hear the karts have gotten much slower since we all ran those times.

Went to fastlap this past weekend. Couldn't get the damn kart under 28 seconds. My fastest lap was 28.65. I'll check the sheet to make sure. I am 195 pounds as well..not sure how light these fast ppl are..I am sure if you are say 30 pounds lighter, you'll have a much better power to weight ratio on these things. I rode car #6 last..and seemed like right out of the pitt people were passing me..something's up with that kart I think! My brother got a 26 second time I believe. He weighs about 175-180 pounds I think.
