Default Which car responds better to upgrades?

I was just wondering, which car will respond better with upgrades...the Supra or Skyline GT-R? I heard the Supra with its JZ block...but I've also seen some crazy numbers for the latest GT-R....

My engine is red and silver and makes a loud noise when I push the third pedal.

Um.... right.
Both engines respond very well to upgrades, and you can get some crazy horsepower out of each. I've seen a Skyline with 1200+ HP and plently of Supra's pushing out 800+.

Once you get to those kind of levels, the cars are just dyno queens anyway.

Anyway, do you mean "price per HP" or ultimate output?

umm with a Skyline R34 you have to have it air freighted over to Japan to have a simple tune-up due to the complexity of the car and that only 15 exist on US soil so not too many people know how it works

The Powerhouse Supras here in Houston both produce in excess of 1000whp.

I'm not thinking of picking up either...just curious. Let's say we were in Japan....Is the GT-R's block as bullet proof as the JZ? I've seen both Supraas and Skylines pushing 1K HP, but is the v6 from the skyline harder to manage than the straight 6?

I thought both were inlines. Hmmm- I learn something new everyday.

Brian, they're both inline-6's - the 'true' Skyline (GT-R), at least.

I don't see how a simple tune up would require it to be sent to Japan? all I would think at the most that might be needed would be special tools? Why would there be any need to ship a car somewhere for that?
