so i go dyno the car today in hopes of seeing about 200hp give or take a few hp and bam.... 224.4hp/146.77tq is what i got.

i did a few calibration runs and 3 baselines... 221.8, 223.8, and a final one of 224.4.

ill get the dyno up when i get it scanned but im pretty surprised at the figures. is that normal for an 03? i thought it was suppose to be around 200 for a stock setup. i dyno'ed the motor when it was brand new and it was at 189.x. 189.x was with an injen cai and the only thing i have now is the intake and spugen exhaust. i dont remember an intake/exhaust gain of 20hp ever unless spugen or injen are making some good stuff.

18000 miles later, im at 224 which leads me to believe the motor got stronger over time.

I know I got about an 7 or 12 HP when I dynoed my car with the prototype Injen intake and HKS Exhaust. This was done on my 00' quite awhile back when Injen was first prototyping the exhaust. When I went back to get the new 2 piece(prototyped) I actually lost some HP with added DC Headers...

the guy (justin) said something about 2wd and 4wd applications dyno. he said it was the expensive kind and they just had it calibrated last month. i asked him why i had a 189 when i first dynoed my car last year and now a 224 and he said that the dyno they used was the one with a one roller where the wheel spins it and now they got the "expensive one" which the wheel spins 2 rollers. the earlier model yielded bad results because the car would actually sway back and forth.

fyi, the 189 was done at engineuity in san diego and the one done today was done at pann auto in san diego.

The dyno I had done was at the Injen facility. They have their own machine.

i'm assuming these numbers are normal on a dynapack and not a dynojet.
