Just wondering if any of you have adjusted the soft top on your car?
I'm getting some wind noise above 75, which goes away while I tug down on the roof of the car. This makes me think I should be able to adjusted the catch to somehow tighten down the top more.
Anyone done this year? Tips? Pics? ???

There are no adjustments to the strikers or latches. You can replace the stock strikers with the hardtop version - they are a bit thicker and help alleviate the problem.
Another, super simple and cheap solution is to use a small piece of aquarium air line tubing, say 1/2". Simply slip this small section of tubing over the little "finger" part of the latch. The extra thickness will snug up the top very nicely. Since fish shops sell it for $1/ft, your out of pocket will be.......um.....minimal. Get a foot and you'll have enough to replace them for years.
Numerous owners have done this, with no complaints.

Ok folks (and KeithD specifically):
Here's the thread you need:

Look at the diagram partway down the page. That's the key to adjusting the top. I did mine today, and it solved my horrendous wind noise problem over 45mph.
Basically, you need to remove the side plastic trim pieces behind the seats, and adjust the strikers as shown in the diagram.
However, a couple caveats. If you do it the way they tell you to in the diagram, you're not going to fix anything, except maybe a few rattles. What you really need to do is constantly fiddle with the top and the strikers to find the tightest adjustment point that still allows the latches to swing down on their own when you're unlatching them.
It'll be much more clear once you get in there and start playing. Note that removing and installing those trim pieces is a bitch, especially getting them back on. Ugh.
But like I said, no more wind noise.

On one long trip (Dallas to Columbus, Ohio), the wind noise was driving me so crazy, I stopped at store, bought some duct tape, and laid a line across the soft top / windshield seam. Solved the sound problem, but created an esthetic one.

I believe there's a TSB for the wind noise by replacing '00 and '01 cars' strikers with the hardtop ones. Dealer should fix it for free.
'02-and-up cars' strikers are the same as the hardtop strikers.
