I don't know the effects of the Honda MTF in the cold....hopefully someone can chime in with a cold MTF recommendation. Hey Dan, Bobbyb will be at the shop 2/13 friday around lunchtime with his S for some stuff. If you wanna do your wheels around the same time and meet up, we could do lunch or something, don't know your sched yet...

Bill thanks for everything. The work was top notch and everything looks great. I learned a whole lot about the install by watching Bill.
The brake lines where replaced with steel braided lines. The rotors were upgraded to slotted. New pads where put on. Rick's powder coated caliphers were installed. New 18" rims where put on instead of the stock wheels.
Basically everything went smooth. Taking off all the parts were quick and easy. There was 2 minor snags I believe but thanks to Bill he fixed them very quickly. I am sure Bill will bring this up for me, but real quick here were the 2 snags
1) on the caliphers we needed to tap the threads for the bolts because they had powder coat in them. We went and got the right tap and fixed that easily.
2) because of the powdercoat the pad was almost tight in the calipher so Bill grabbed the grinder and grinded the pads very lightly and that did the trick. As Bill said, the pad needs to be able to squeeze and release smoothly.
Here is a link to my pictures we took. Yes there are alot. We were just gonna post the good ones, but I know everyone is anxious to see some pics, so have fun checking out the 60 or so pics.
The 2 little problems have some pictures to kind of show what we had to do. Bill can elaborate if he wants.

Thanks JP, you saved me some typing...The caliper brackets needed to be tapped...12MMx1.25 in the front, 10MMx1.25 in the rear....The pads needed to be planed a little to offset the difference in the powder coating thickness. Most of the front pads would not fit at all, and custom fitting each pad to each side of the bracket took a whole 10 minutes...this is a must. We also did some measuring of the new wheels...the fenders front and back overhang the rims about 1/8", the offsets on these rims are spot on....JP has the offsets. When all said and done, took her for a little road test. Then I thought I'd take JP for a spin in my car, down a road I like to call the Baby Dragon....Maybe he'll chime in about our little adventure
