Default Quick question regarding photo albums...

check out this thread...

a member linked his photo album to show me some pictures. whenever i clicked on his link, i was routed to the "Join S2ki.com" page. I noticed that other members had no problems accessing these photos, and assumed i was unable to due to being a Guest. however, an Enthusiast/Guest has posted that he can access those photos as well.

am i doing something wrong here??

I was able to access the photo album without any problem. Specifically what was the URL that you were pointed to?

i clicked on this URL
Code:
http://gallery.s2ki.com/imagecatalog/image/list/8493/
and was transfered to this URL
Code:
https://secure.s2ki.com/membership/membership.php
in between the two, i was prompted to establish a secure connection (which is a good thing if i were to be submitting my credit card ). still, it makes no sense to me why i cannot view photo albums.... in fact, i don't think i can view anyone's photo albums... for example, if i click on your 'photo' button, i get the same result... "Join S2KI: Become a Member Today!" i've noted this is true for other member's photo albums as well.

Completely bizarre. Maybe cthree will be able to shed some light on this since it appears that somewhere on the back end the link is getting mis-translated...

Well I'm not sure what I can offer. From my account I can get to the album link you posted. If I logout I can still get to the album link you posted.

Try logging out start button >> Logout then going to that link again. If it works, try logging in again and going to that link again. If it works, problem solved. If it doesn't then there is something we need to further investigate.

when logged out -- i have no problems pulling up the photos.

when logged back in -- i still go to the Join S2ki page.

and i've tried multiple computers via different ISPs, and i get the same problem. i don't think it's a cookie issue on my side...

cthree -- if you'd like and if it will help, i'll change and happily PM you my password and you can experience this for yourself.
