MID-A MOD DAY: Sunday April 4th, 2004

Hey all. As I mentioned in the thread for the first mod day, I volunteered my house to hold the second quarterly Mid A mod day!

After talking with Alex and Skip, we've set the date as Sunday April 3.

Heres the skinny:

Address(For Mapquest):
317 Southwest Drive
Silver Spring, MD 20901

Start Time: 10:00
End Time: Whenever

Parking for those not working / waiting to work on the cars:
- Plenty of Parking up and down street
- Elementary school one block down street (in case "overflow" parking becomes necessary)

Facilities:
- Room for 2 cars in well lit garage
- Room for 3-4 cars (2 could be jacked up) in front of garage on drive way.
- 6 hp Compressor (must bring air tools if you want to use)
- Floor Jack and 2 Jack stands (if someone could bring a few this might be helpful too to have more than just 2)

We've also got a little grill so I thought if we all wanted to bring some food we could do up a little BBQ action while we work so we're well fueled

After the work has stopped for the day, all are welcome to relax and throw back a few brews and socialize for the remainder of the evening. (read: Party)

This is a great opportunity folks to get together, have fun, and for the less experienced in our midst to benefit from the knowledge of those that have been doing all of this stuff for some time. So post up if you can come and we'll maintain an attendance list in this post and a modder list (who's bringing what) in the post right below.

Go ahead and sign me up as tentative in that I am not exactly sure what my new work schedule will be. 1) i applied for a position working for Geico !! (more money) 2) i applied for another manager position at my job (less money, but less stress & better hours/days off) 3) shift bit at my current position (so i wont be working nights anymore)

 

You know I'm in Jeff! As long as I can find a place to crash at the night before (it's a loooooong drive). Any cute women out there.........just kidding

I am going to start a thread where we can discuss mods. The last Mod-Day thread got a wee bit cluttered
