Default Auto down window problem

Since roads are finally clear and dry here in Ohio, I decided to take car out.
My auto down isn't working,(it goes a few inches then stops, or it goes half to 3/4 down then stops) but when it was warmer(last fall) it worked fine. Can the cold weather be effecting it??
Or should I just go get it replaced under waranty?? I remember reading that 00-01 had prob with the auto down, but I thought Honda fixed it for 02.
any thoughts??

Thanks

I have the problem on my '02 with 7500 miles. I was going to have it replaced during my pre-winter oil change, but it didn't work out with parts and timing.

I recall a thread where Woodwork stated that the latest part upgrade should fix it permanently. Previous fixes were temporary only.

Try this...

Press the driver's window button to make the window go down and hold until the window goes to the bottom AND continue to hold (a few seconds) until you hear a small "click."

Then, pull the button to make thw window go up and hold until the window goes to the top AND continue to hold (a few seconds) until you hear a small "click."

This procedure resets something with the upper and lower limits of the window. After performing, try using the top again and see if the window goes to the bottom. I've heard this is all Honda will do at the dealer on some fixes.

00civic's post info works too... and easier than taking it to the dealer.
i did this a year ago and it did "break" once more and i just did what he said and it has been working again since.
