Default turbo s2000(plates ULF) vs. STi

Hey wassup guys. I was going to DC in my STi from home and as i merged onto a major road i see S2000 lights behind me. We were just kinda having fun and eventually both merged onto the highway. We had 2 quick races their. The s2000 was very quick, much quicker then my s2000, so i knew somethign had to be up. We both roll our windows down on the highway and i ask him what he had and he said turbo. He seemed pretty cool and was wondering does anyone know him or his he a member on the forum? Just wanted to say wassup and ask him how much power to the wheels was he making. It was a 00-01 cause it had a plastic rearview, silver, lowered, gunmetal wheels, dual exhaust, and plates "ULF".

well the first time when we actually really went at it we were merging onto a highway from another highway and as soon as we got a chance to merge we both went at it. He was in front of me but i think i took a hard left and punched it before he did, i was doing about 50mph then i think. Anyhow i got from behind him to almost siding him but then we shutdown. However i could tell that he was gonna start pulling from me after like 100 mph but it was very very close. Then thats when i made him role down his window to ask what he had. Then we went at it again this time he was like 1/2 car lengths behind me and hit it first and immediately i stomped it right after. This time the race i actually got into fifth gear was there for like 3 or 4 secs so i think we got too like 110-115. We started at i think around 50 mph again cause we were going slow cause i was talking to him. Anyhow the end of that race was pretty much even but probably him like 1/4 to 1/2 a car ahead. We stayed pretty much even but at higher speeds i knew he would of taken me. I still was happy with the outcome and think the car did very well with no engine mods. From what i felt, i think from like 45 to 70 my car was actually a little faster and then up to 100 it was even and from there he would start pulling but slowly and god knows at even higher speeds i would probably just get walked. He seemed like a cool guy and would love to talk to him about the event as well and get his opinion. Thats why i was wondering if anyone knows him.

That was me. Good run. ksikyat2000's account is pretty accurate. Once we got on 395 I had a blast. After we talked I really wasn't in the right gear. More or less I was trying to keep the car in the lane while I was talking to you. I had a hard time hearing you with all the wind. Did you say you also have an S2000?

You def. punched it before me from the merge because I had another car infront of me that I was a little too close to. I shutdown first due to a car I was coming up on. I honestly don't know where we stood at that point because I was focusing on the traffic ahead. Good run though. I really like the STI in white.

If raced again properly from a roll, Heezy would've won convincingly this time, if Ksi's STI is stock.

These runs certainly weren't an exact science. We weren't lined up at all

I doubt the extra passenger had any affect on the way it went. My trunk was 100% full of hockey equipment (I was on my way to a game when we met) and tools I used the previous weekend. Not to mention I am a big guy to be driving an S 235lbs. A diet might help my 1/4 time

I have never driven with an STI before so I don't know exactly what they are capable of. Your car hauled ass though. Def. faster than the older WRX. What color wheels does it have? I didn't look while we were on the road.
