Default some cool mods today and one BIG problem :( pics -

the weather was nice today so i figued i'd install my new eyelids from MPT - the look great

that was pretty easy so i figure i'll add the S-Pods i bought a few weeks ago - had to buy some diamond components and mickey mouse the tweeter to fit but what a difference boy I love it - just need to figure out a better way to attach the frt pannels because these speakers covered the top of Mark's velcro .. need to adjust the amp a bit but again they sound awesome (next will be some ads for the fronts..

looking at my top I notice a small tear right behind the drivers door

I'd ask for a goodwill replacement of the top. I'd consider it premature wear, your car is barely 3 years old. I wouldn't push your luck and ask for a glass window top. If you are persistant and friendly, (not an ass from the begining) DPSM's can help you out.

I have the same rip adn they said no to me. But I'm going to try to pursuade them this summer. Either that or claim it on my insurance and just buy a hard top with the money.

they said they could fix it at first.....and used BROWN GLUE on it...

i said NO this is not acceptable. and it took 3 more times of taking it back for diffrent people to look at it before they agreed to replace it...

my car only had 15k miles at the time. BUT i was past 3 years already.....

I would try a few different dealerships. If you were in CA, you could take it to Honda of Serramonte. They warrantied my car when it was 3 years 3 months old and had 38K. It was not for a top though.
